CHARDONNAY

1 Ha. Una Historia Chardonnay (D.O.P. Pago de Otazu) is a wine made with the Chardonnay grape from clay soil limestone from the Viña Urrutia plot. It is harvested manually in September and then gently pressed. Two thirds of the wine will ferment in egg-shaped concrete tanks with subsequent aging for 6 months on its lees. At the same time, the remaining third ferments and finishes aging in French oak barrels from the Vosges forest.

This careful process results in a pale yellow wine, with a vivid and bright tone. On the nose, it presents great complexity with mineral notes that give way to delicate aromas of pineapple and mango. Dense and great tension in the mouth, it is a fresh wine in which the mineral notes take us to the soil where it comes from.

It is ideal to accompany seafood, Iberian ham, little cured cheeses, white fish and fatty fish, rice dishes, white meats and vegetables.
