Altar (D.O.P. Pago de Otazu) is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine

To achieve the unique personality of this wine, a manual harvest was carried out separately from each of the vineyards. Before fermentation, a cold maceration is carried out at 8ºC for a week. Malolactic fermentation is carried out with fine lees in French oak barrels. It is aged for 18 months in barrels followed by 60 months in the bottle.

It presents a dark garnet color with a ruby rim, with a great layer and brilliant. On the nose it appears as a complex wine, dominated by its minerality, accompanied by hints of ripe black fruit, truffle and subtle balsamic and cedar notes. Its palate is firm and elegant, with a persistent finish.

The perfect wine to accompany large game, grilled meats, roast lamb and suckling pig, red meats and cured cheeses .
