ROSÉ TEMPRANILLO

Otazu Rosé Tempranillo (D.O. Navarra) is a 100% Tempranillo rosé wine. The elaboration of this vintage began with a harvest in the property’s Tempranillo vineyards in October.

This rosé is made using the traditional bleeding method, which allows the quality of the fruit to be fully respected and the personality and uniqueness of this variety. After an hour of cold maceration of the must with skins, it acquires its characteristic pale pink color, at which time the technique of bleeding these grapes is carried out. The must is then clarified by gravity and left to ferment at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Finally, it rests for a month on the lees in the tank, which allows it to acquire a unique volume, unctuousness and varietal character.

Otazu Rosé Tempranillo has a salmon color with a low layer, lively and bright. On the nose it is fresh and fruity, with citrus notes of orange peel. On the palate it is presented as a light wine, where its freshness and final citrus notes stand out.

This rosé wine is ideal to accompany warm or cold salads, rice dishes, pasta, uncured cheeses and vegetables.
